Growth Hacking: What it is and Why your company might need to take advantage of it
While it may feel like the same old world, operating on the internet means thinking about your company in new ways. It means that new ways of operation require new ways of thinking and acting in order to grow your company, especially at the start up level of your business.
One idea to consider carefully is growth hacking. Growth hacking uses the internet and available software tools, programming and analytics, and a growth hacker to focus on growing your company in a new world.
Sean Ellis coined the term growth hacker in 2010 as a person who’s only job is to create and implement strategies that grow a company. She/he uses analytics, technology, content creation, and knowledge of web possibilities to create a plan of action that will provide continued growth for a company.
Typically the growth hacker works with a team. She/he needs a front-end developer, and a back-end developer to do the job.
